The lined pillowcases create a sturdy durable item. And a straight stitch domestic sewing machine can be used to create these décor pieces. This is a wonderful introduction into the world of patchwork home décor for children and adults alike. Materials required for this project - A box of cotton and poly cotton non stretch fabric strips. Some pieces of cotton or poly cotton sheeting for the backing. Poly-cotton or polyester sewing thread Tools: A standard domestic straight stitch machine. or machines depending on the number of students.
