Using up crumbs

I have been going through my seasons boxes. I have a smaller studio and after donating almost 200 boxes of fabric I wanted to do something practical with what I kept.

I break the fabric storage down into sections, boxes of sheets and larger pieces, medium sized pieces, small pieces and the last - crumbs and scraps. All sorted according to the color seasons.

I had still too many boxes of crumbs so I decided to create "fabric" pieces out of them and from those to create practical items.

The first task was to create the fabrics.

Just joining the pieces emptied 3 boxes.

I then made aprons from each season

And pillows

I made a few more metres of fabric in each color season and that got rid of another 3 boxes. Now I have boxes of crumb fabric and more space.
