I managed to complete the patchwork piece using only the strips that I had.
It was interesting to work on it. It is not exactly a 4 seasons piece. What I see is leaves and flowers through the 4 seasons.
A number of colors were missing from the mix to create a piece with all the 4 seasons. Blue, purple, red, different shades of browns and greens and not enough greys and charcoals.
This was a challenge piece to create using what I have. It has actually given me motivation to make another 4 seasons piece using all of the shades.
That will mean planning it and choosing fabrics from my stash.
